the simplist way to setup a (LAN) would be to check and see if both of your computers have ethernet ports (RJ-45 port). an ethernet port is just a large port in the back of your computer that looks like a large telephone jack (RJ-11). if they both have theese large telephone jacks in the back you can just go out and buy a category 5 crossover cable to connect the two computers together,
