I am an artist (Painting, Drawing, design, stuff like that), I want to know how I can put that to work?

I want to use what I know to make something out of it, I want to make money, things like that……any idea is good.

You could get with other artist and do a co-op. This could be done as a yard sale/ garage sale at different houses on the weekends of the month. One person would be responsible for the sale each weekend. This would get your work in more than one neighborhood each month. The price of adds for yard sales are not very much. Just advertise "one of a kind artwork".

Well, it is almost not worth it now with the fees getting larger and you are nickel and dimed to death but ebay is always a place to start. I sold some art there but now listing fees are astronomical. Or you could try other auction sites like ebay. They may be a little cheaper. You can start here just to see how it goes. List in the "ART" section subcategory self-representing artist. Isn't hard to set up an account. Good luck!

I sell on ebay and you get exposure and some profit from it. I do better with the commissions from people finding me that way. I also painted murals and faux finishing in homes and business' for 30 years- I started at about 100 a day and left the biz at 500.00 a day-many long hours I can tell you but you can get printed examples of your work (think murals or such) and mail them with a cover letter to design groups in your area for their vendor files….also GO GET NOW the Artists marketplace book from your local bookstore- its full of lists of companies that use artists and how to approach them with portfolios and all, many galleries, booksellers, magazines etc. Its a yearly Pub.-look in the referance section. Its an education for 25.00 and worth it—good luck to you!
