There is some software called ESP that uses the description codes to create a dxf file that automatically draws lines for you. You have to use certain codes to make it work right, but once you get it down, it's pretty easy. I'm wondering what kind of points you have. If they're just plain point entities, you may have a problem using the points by number, because there is no data base. I use LDD for importing points. It really is worth the extra money just to get the survey package. What kind of data collector are you using?
How are you importing the points?
